system upgrade

i need to upgrade my current system to window 7, currently my OS was Window Vista,
current system
Processor :Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2140 @1.6Gz
Graphics: Intel Q965/Q963 Express Chipset Family (built-in)
power supply : 250
Optical Driver : 48x/32X SATA COMBO DRIVE

can anyone suggest me system upgrade based on my system. tis was my first time upgrade

the best upgrade i can recommend is to upgrade ure ram, because if u put a graphics card in there u would also have to upgrade the psu as well, so the most affective upgrade for the cheapest would be to put more ram in.

first one questions...

1) how many slots/what is ure motherboards max capacity of ram?

if u dont know download this program to see the model number of ure motherbaord and just post the model number and i can google it and see

just post back and ill link you to some good ram to really speed up ure system

I have the exact same processor as you do lol. Is this a pre built desktop or custom?
