I am new and this is my first post. I recently ran a scan at the Microsoft Live security site (I discovered this by working on a friend's child's computer). I decided to scan my 'play' laptop and discovered I had three java-based trojans. Clearing the java cache from the console cleared up one of them but one remains: TrojanDownloader:Java/OpenStream.AK.

Here is the location:

The Microsoft Live security scanner can't clean it, Avast doesn't see it, and Malwarebytes can't see it. I have also run CCleaner. I have run combofix and based on a posting from this forum ran OTL.

I would rather clean this thing as opposed to doing a rebuild.

I am not a computer newbie (former programmer, systems analyst, and developer), but I don't know how else to continue.

Thanks for everything!

Hello, sorry you got lost in all these posts.

Everyone probably saw that you already ran ComboFix and moved on. Having run it we need to see that and a DDS log.
Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
Skip the GMER step and instead post the ComboFix log you posted earlier.

Let me know if that went well.
