I have for some time been using Ad-Aware SE,with which i am very pleased.
Just recently my desktop icon for Ad-Aware has become corrupted. That is half of it looks like Outlook Express and the rest could be anything.
However the programme still runs normally.
I have tried un installing it and reinstalling a bit later. The icon is still corrupted.
If anybody has any thoughts would they please share them with me.

Have you rebooted since this has happened? Sometimes rebooting fixes these problems. Also you can salways go into the properties of the icon and change the icon to something else

Thanks for your help.I think i may have found the answer.
If you change the size of the icons and then change them back to the original size the problen seems to go away but like all problems at some time or another they return.
We shall see
Thanks again
