Hi,
My IE8 (on Win7 Ultimate) blocks me for logging to various sites and to check/changing/cleaning internet options.
For example, I can't access MS support forums since hitting "Login" causes nothing, no error message, no opening og a login page, just nothing.
Same happens with other sites.
The last step is that hitting Tool=>Internet Options fails to open the expected window.
I did a few steps hoping to solve my problem, but to no avail.
I reinstalled Flash Player
I cleaned the system from Flash Player (using the Adobe tool) and reinstalled it.
I checked my java installation.

Is there anything else I should do?

Solved

Mu inetcpl.cpl file was missing. Running sfc /scannow solved the problem.
