hi, I've got Winfixer and/or other stuff that none of the basic steps are fixing.

I'm running a full Norton security system, which seems to be part of the problem, as the Winfixer/WinAntiVirusPro2006 people are happy to inform me!

anyway, I can't seem to install Hijack This! when I unzip it, it *immediatly* says ok, and when I close the unzip screen nothing is differerent... or at least, there's no shortcut.

any help on this at all would be appreciated. Whatever is going on is really messing with my computer; if anyone has created *info files* on what the hell is Winfixer/WinAntiVirusPro2006, could you show me where they are?

thanks,
Greg

well that depends on where you unzipped it to....do a search of it. have winzip or what ever you use to default unzip files to you desktop or whereever you want next time. good luck.
