Hi,

My wife's laptop started acting up some time ago. After running mbam, it found Win32/Keygen.AH, Win32/Krytik.IGI and Win32/Adware.FakeAntiSpy.S, all of which it indicated were cleaned and quarantined, but one of the items noted it would be taken care of with a restart.

After the restart mbam did a rescan, and this time it found Heuristics.Reserved.Word.Exploit, Trojan.Agent and Adware.Coupons. The computer will now not connect to the internet via a browser, just for email through Outlook.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

For the connection....

Try this-- Open Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections tab, Lan settings, uncheck the box next to "use proxy...."
OR
Go to Start ... Run and type in cmd
A dos Window will appear.
Type in the dos window: netsh winsock reset
Click on the enter key.

Reboot your system to complete the process.
