I use SUPER ©

It is free
and it works great

You must be careful to choose the correct download.

The erightsoft page is very busy with ads.

Try the following website:

http://www.filehippo.com/

It is full of helpful freeware, shareware, and commercial trials including some free video converters

It is free to try, but only converts 50% (trial version)

I am still using Super © last years version.
It is obsolete but works fine.

I recommend not to get the newest version.

Regrettably the last time I went to update Super © Whitesmoke was being distributed with their downloads.

There are many cases of Whitesmoke being reported with a TDSS rootkit infection after installation.

So if you have an old version of Super © I would not update it at this time.

I have attempted to contact the company that distributes Super © about the problem, they do not reply.

Not sure what sort of files you're looking to convert, but Xilisoft's Video Converter is something I've been using for a few years.

Easy to use, looks good and is very effective.
