Hello everyone. I was recommended to this site by a software engineer in Australia when I complained that I thought I had malware or a worm on my laptop because I couldn't type anywhere. After 2 days of backing up, uninstalling and going back to a restore point, I still wasn't getting anywher. I packed my laptop up and took it to the nearest Staples (it was during the Christmas Holidays so most businesses except retail were closed. I opened my laptop up and fired it up to demonstrate my problem...and, voila! No problem typing. Must have been a mechanical glitch in the hinge that prevented the keyboard operation. No problems since, and no charge from Staples. However I treated myself to a stylish new laptop bag while there:)

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
