Regarding::

That is so cool. I drove 4 hrs to be at my sisters which was in the totality zone just outside of Carbondale, Illinois. Took me 11+ hrs to get back home.

Darn! Just found out that I can't attach the pictures of the before and during the totality of the eclipse and I refuse to pay Photobucket $399.99 in order to enable third-party hosting.

Oh well. It was a sight to behold.

and . ..

So excited, total solar eclipse 8/21/2017!

Eclipse COOOL!  I seen one of the path and as I thought at some symposium/consortium/profWINETASTINGeventHA!, that everyone laughed at me that it was backwards like from west to east as in gimbal or lens idea, maybe someone will post one of those, oh wellz.
UPDATED SEE ABOVE, oh no direction indicated BOO! oh wellz, good words eh? [oh wellz]hahahahaha!

There was a time when the internet was young and everything, pretty much everything was free up to A.D. 2000 then little by little, NOT !

I know that the eclipse was a while ago, but I was fortunate to have enough time to travel to the "point of greatest eclipse" in Kentucky. It was an interesting sight!

In 2015, this guy was yanked off his boat by a sea lion and pulled 20 feet under the water. Talk about a Kodak moment... :)

This morning I was day dreaming about where I'd like to go for a vacation, Valencia Spain seemed like an enriching location to travel to! The picture below is:

The Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe (Valencian: Museu de les Ciències Príncep Felip, Spanish: Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe, Anglicised as "Príncipe Felipe/Prince Philip Science Museum") is an important visitor attraction in Valencia, Spain. It forms part of the City of Arts and Sciences, and can be found at the end of Luis García Berlanga street. Its director is Spanish science writer and television personality, Manuel Toharia.
