This might be a wild suggestion, but there are a few accessibility things I feel I need to say

Hi guys,
I have noticed a few issues with the message board interface that makes posting anything more than text very difficult for me. It's kind of an accessibility thing with screen readers. screen readers don't like the editing tools here for adding things like hyperlinks and stuff very much. I have one idea, but again it sounds wild. Have any of the admins here ever heard of Mojo Portal? It's a beautiful content management system, with it's main focus on accessibility for screen reader users, and then, sighted individuals get the best of both worlds as well since they get the benefits of it as well. Though it's an ASP.net CMS, it can run on any flavor of linux (if that's what you folks use), and there's a lovely community. I think that the site would look even better on the portal rather than what it's on right now. And switching is flawless too. Let me know what you think.

Hi Chromebuster,

I'm not familiar with content management systems, so I'll leave that part to someone more knowledgeable than me, but regarding the editing tools, there is a simple work-around for that.

Instead of using the Insert Link button, you can just as simple type the BBCode out. So, for example, you want to create a hyperlink called "click here" that goes to a site named www.thisismylink.com. You can just type the following in order to get that:
[url="http://www.thisismylink.com"]click here[/url]
It takes a bit of practice, but tbh I rarely use the buttons anymore to make up text, I'm so used to it that I just type it out.

I hope this helps!

regards, Elise
