Windows 7 / Eudora / Email

I recently had to upgrade my computer from WinXP to Win7.
I use Eudora 7.0 for email. This is set as my default in Windows.
When I open a pdf document I am unable to email it.
I click on the email link and nothing happens - no errors.
Somehow, the last couple of days I've been able to do something (?)
that makes it work but when I shut my computer down for the night
it loses it. I have not been able to get it to work at all today.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Something needs to be checked on your msconfig/startup menu?
