I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop
I have Norton Internet Security 2010 as my Anti-Virus and Firewall
I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Installed as well.
I never had many problems with viruses or spyware and always assumed I was a careful enough internet user that I didn't need to worry. However, I ended up installing Bitdefender about a year ago, just to be on the safe side. Nothing suspect was found when I ran it for the first time, and everything was ok. In November, due to Bitdefender taking up too much of my resources, I uninstalled it. By the middle of last month, multiple problems started up, and I went to install an Antivirus. This time, after doing some research, I figured NIS was the way to go.
I installed Norton and it found a ton of Trojans. Then I installed Malwarebytes, which found a large number Malware. Still, after ridding myself of everything, I still had odd performance issues. I tried to run in Safe Mode, in order scan securely, and I found that Safe Mode wouldnt boot. It was stall at the last driver load and wouldn't load even after waiting 10 minutes or so. I did some research on fixing safe mode, managed to do so, then ran scans. This time, even more Malware and Trojans were found. After doing more research, I learned that it would be wise to disable Restore temporarily and do another scan. When I tried to shut off Restore, it wouldn't allow me to. It would freeze when it was checking drives and never loaded options to uncheck the C: drive. Still, more research was done, I figured out how to get Restore working, and did more scans in Safe Mode, which led to more Virus/Malware removal. Since this was done, 90% of the irregularities went away, and things seemed safe.
The other issue I should mention is that my Firefox (version 3.6) about:config settings were Hijacked at some point, and something called the Conduit Search Engine was installed. There were multiple user-defined settings that started with "CT2786678" (example: CT2786678.CommunitiesChangesLastCheckTime set as the preference). The NIS/Malware scans took care of all that was Conduit-related, and Firefox was fine up until a week ago. Out of nowhere, it wouldn't trigger certain downloads (.rar, .zip, or .torrent files). The save-to dialog would pop-up, I'd choose to open files with their default programs, and after I hit OK nothing would download. I ran Firefox in Safe Mode, and things worked normally. I then disabled all add-ons, but that made my issue worse. I went and checked the about: config settings, and the Conduit settings had reconfigured my browser exactly after I disabled all add-ons. So this time I completely uninstalled Firefox, then upgraded to the latest 4.0 beta version. Since, Firefox has been fine. Still, I don't feel confident things have been taken care of, and a few things have me worried.
Issues are as follows:
1) While my CPU usage shot way down since the major removals, the memory usage has shot up. Its consistently in the 70-80% range, and often over 90%. I'll shut down quite a few programs, and it will often still be over 70% afterwards.
2) I received an alert a few days ago from NIS that it had stopped an intrusion to my computer...from my computer. The attack was from 192.168.1.2, and the Attacker URL was link from a domain called "evonyet.com," which was going outbound to another IP.
3) Black command prompts have been popping up an awful lot, then disappearing before I can make out anything on their screens. This is something I only saw happen on rare occasions before, and I always understood why. Now, they seem to pop-up and disappear hourly, and its never after I've launched any program.
4) I have my Windows toolbar placed on the left-side of desktop, and I have it set to auto-hide. This has been my set-up for a few months. Lately, when hidden, it will suddenly pop out and then go back to hidden in a flash, and it will usually do this several times in the span of a few seconds. It generally happens when I launch a program or open a folder, but occasionally it happens out of nowhere.
So, while my most recent scans have come up with nothing suspicious, I'm still worried. I want to know if my computer really should be using so much memory. I'd also liked to know what the intrusion attempt going outbound from my computer was all about. Is it possible I'll have to wipe my harddrive and start again?
Aside from NIS, I usually have Firefox running, as well as Google Desktop. Below I'll include a Hijack This log, and and also list what processes are running on my computer.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks much!
EDIT: changed my initial "cmd>tasklist>c:\list.txt" list of running processes, and re-submitted with a Sysinternals log instead.
Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. Now that I see specific rules for receiving help with this topic, I'll go ahead and post new logs. One problem I've now run into, though: I was hit with the blue screen of death when I tried running gmer. That's the first time its ever happened to me on this laptop. I tried running gmer in safe mode and the same thing happened. I started in safe mode again, ran NIS, and a new trojan was found and removed. The Malwarebytes scan I did came up with nothing, though.
I have disabled emulation drives via defogger. I've included the txt attachment, and I'm pasting the contents of the dds below. I deleted Hijackthis, then redownloaded it, and I'm pasting an updated log below as well.
One NEW issue I've run into is my toolbar settings keep disappearing after a restart. I'll have specific folders set as toolbars on my taskbar, and they disappear on restart. The order of Quicklaunch icons keeps changing as well.

I do not mean to bump this, but I can not find an option to edit my post. I understand it will take time before I receive a reply, but there is no other way to paste this information without replying. Please do not penalize me, as it is 100% necessary for me to update.
Gmer still crashes my computer, so I found an alternative (RKUnhooker). I will paste in the log for this below.
