I have a not so unusual problem. I have lost (in my head) the password to my iphone 3G. So from what I understand my only option is to do a manual restore my iphone. I have backed up my phone on my computer so I won't lose all of my purchased music, apps, phone #s etc. My question is, after I restore my phone and then reload the info from my backup on my computer back onto the phone, will it reset the iphone password to the one that I lost, and essentially putting me back at square 1?

Well from past experience I have found that it does not backup that password, I honestly think apple did it that way on purpose.
