running vista business 32 bit. i have internet accesss and can browse but malware can not do an update, and avg will not install. it wants proxy server settings. combofix found something but there problem is still here. malware found this
Files Infected:
c:\Qoobox\quarantine\C\Windows\System32\helper32.dll.vir (Trojan.BHO) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
attached are the dds, attach and ark logs.

Thanks but i've figured it out. even though i uninstalll mcafee, the servers were still on. disabling them solved the problem
