My budget for the new computer is: $1,000, max
What are the primary uses for this computer?: Mail, web surfing, watching videos/streaming, photos
What software do you intend on using on the computer? FireFox, Skype, Photofilter, thegimp, itunes, utorrent, family tree builder,
Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it?
Lots of tabs & Skype
Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer? Yes, too many.

I prefer a 15 inch screen
Touch pad in the CENTER :exclame:
It's the biggest factor for me

I am considering SonyVAIO VPCEB390X CTO

Really unless you plan on gaming or doing high end software stuff it really doesn't matter too much what you get; just make sure to go with a reliable brand name.

*Might want to consider a mac, they are basically virus free and are a lot better for the way you intend to use yours*
