Windows 7 home premium , One of the users said he opened start typed in recent places and dragged it out on desktop to create a shortcut . The create a shortcut menu did not appear . But something else ''weird ''did and he clicked yes . He distinctly remembers clicking yes but has no idea what the question was . Now all applications are opening in wordpad. All files are now .lnk files . And Word pad is set as default to open .lnk .
