I am having a problem with Mozilla Firefox. Whenever i click on results from Google or Yahoo a page called "tazinga," or another undesired page comes up instead of the desired site. if i type the url manually, the correct page is displayed. Sometimes on other pages, not search engine related, a new tab will open with what appears to be the google.com home page, but the url says "google.com/webhp". Possibly related: occasionally when trying to listen to music, or watch a video online, the sound will not work, and when i click the volume control icon in the system tray, something to the effect of: "there is no mixing software running" pops up (this is fixed temporarily by restarting the PC).

To try and solve the problem i have cleared browser cache, run Malwarebytes multiple times, run AdAware, and SuperAntiSpyware. they have all found problems, and claimed to fix them, but the problem remains. I also successfully did a system restore, which again did not solve the issue.

Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3
i have a HijackThis log if need be.

At this point its frustrating, and i know sometimes these sorts of thing can escalate to where the computer is un-usable, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
