Windows XP
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Super Antispyware
McAfee Security Center

I requested help 12-27-2010 regarding e-mail being sent to spam folder but have had no response (just 121 views). no matter how many times I tell it that it is not spam it still goes into the spam folder. Now I noticed another issue; when I try to change my search engine it changes back. I have no idea now what it is, used to be Google. I cannot open any pdf files, says I need to install Adobe reader, I have tried but it will not install completely, tells me it has failed. I run scans several times a day, every time it finds anywhere from 100-200 or more items, I quarantine/remove them. It doesn't matter if I scan, remove, shut down and reboot and scan again it still finds 100-200 or more items. I don't know if I have some type of virus or what but it is starting to really worry me. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

This is what I posted in the Web Browsing/Email & other Internet Applications section:

"I am running Windows XP and for about 3-4 weeks now my incoming e-mails are being sent to my spam folder. I have not changed any of the settings so I don't know why this is happening. I have run Malwarebytes and SuperAnti Spyware and McAfee Security to clean up anything I might have, (ran each about 5 times) Have even gotten into habit of running them every morning (always finds something & I remove) but this has not helped. I have defraged, erased history, done disk clean up. I am using Mozilla/Firefox and do not use Outlook Express, use my cable company e-mail".
