We have NAV and web root running on this computer. How do these virus' get by them and infect the computers, and how to get rid of this. I have seen a few ways, one of them being rreformat your hard drive and start over.

Well...if you are running two AV programs at the same time...that's probably the cause of your seeming problems.

I suggest removing one program...then seeing how your system performs.

Your title is about "helpctr.exe virus" but there is nothing else indicating that your system is infected. A little unusual, I would say.

I'm sorry about that. I failed to mention that when running task manager and under the processess tab there were over 50 processes of helpctr.exe running and it was keeping the computer totall bogged down
