I have a redirect virus and was trying to follow the procedures outlined on "Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help," but when I try to save and run the dds.scr file, I double click on it and it is a huge ascii string. I went back and tried the process again and noticed that when it was asking to SAVE or CANCEL, it was not listed as a "Type: Screen Saver, 351Kb." It shows up as "AutoCAD Script." I can't get beyond this to try to ask for assistance with my virus problem.

Hi Glassman_NJ, just post your topic and mention clearly why you could not run DDS. The helper that will reply to your topic will give you alternative instructions.

regards, Elise
