Cannot Delete C:\recycled

I can't delete this folder, I've tried ccleaner and taking off the read-only properties, but theres about 5GB of old deleted files in there and I just can't delete them..any ideas? thanks.

That's your recycle bin - just empty the recycle bin - that folder will remain
