You guys helped me out many years ago and did an awesome job. I have been clean till now :(

I first started noticing problems a few weeks ago when my Security Essentials stopped updating, then I noticed I couldn't get to updates.microsoft.com or anything similar.

I am now getting a program called WhiteSmoke that installs itself after I run SpyBot and Malewarebytes which has worked well for me in the past.

I was unable to successfully run a GMER scan. Getting blue screen of death mid scan. I have been unable to successfully reboot my machine but if I mess around with it I can boot up in Safe Mode or Regular mode.

I get these errors randomly:
RUNDLL "Error loading c:\windows\uwuhidonokecikot.dll Access is denied."

I also get a Win32 error that asks me to close down a svchost process. generally after that i am unable to get my firewall back up.

Here is my DDS Log:

Hello tk_atlanta,

Welcome back. :) You likely have a rootkit along with these other things, and that's why they're so hard to get rid of. <_<

Download TDSSKiller.zip
  • Extract it to your desktop
  • Double click TDSSKiller.exe
  • Press Start Scan
    • If Malicious objects are found then ensure Cure is selected
    • Then click Continue > Reboot now
  • Copy and paste the log in your next reply
    • A copy of the log will be saved automatically to the root of the drive (typically C:\)

Thanks,
tea

OMG. I am actually downloading microsoft updates for the first time in a long while.

Is there anything else I should run to check for plagues?

Excellent. :thumbup2: Have a look in this folder : c:\windows\system32\%APPDATA% I'm thinking there may be some more of the Whitesmoke garbage in there....if so, then delete it.

Have a quick scan with MBAM after that and let me know if it finds anything.

Update your Adobe....your version is WAY out of date and vulnerable to attack.
