Are you pressing the POWER button or using Windows (Start->Shutdown)?
If you are using Windows to shutdown open up command prompt and try the shutdown command:
Start->Run
Type in:
cmd
Hit Enter key on keyboard
Command Prompt Window should open, type the following on keyboard:
shutdown -t 0
Hit Enter Key
Tell me what happens then.

Go to the Control Panel and open Power Options. How do you have this set?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Hi lordthunda821, do you still need help with this problem (since you posted anew about this problem?)?

I merged your new topic with the original one. Please do not start new topics, just continue in this one.

regards, Elise
