I backed up my data and reset to factory defaults and now I have a nice fast computer with nothing on it, which is very nice :thumbsup: . I'm gradually putting my stuff back on.
Thanks for your help everyone...

...but surely installing Service Pack 2 shouldn't result in such drastic action! :o

congrats i'm glad you saved all your data....just goes to show ya, can't have to many backups.. you were lucky this time my friend...the best offense is a defense if ya know what i mean....BE PREPARED (and yes i was/am a boyscout(always)) way ta go..... :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
