Hello everyone,

Thank you for admitting me to your forum. Like most members, I joined because I'm desperate to remove the lingering effects of an especially nasty virus -- this time on my teenage daughter's computer. And because there is no way that I'll risk her using my computer, this is my last stop before wiping her hard drive.

As background, I am a harried mid-50s dad and not especially technical. I've thrown together a few amateurish websites (e.g., http://planet-united.de, http://deutschtreffen.de), and done a fair amount of programming, but I'm in way over my head when it comes to virus removal. Hope you guys can help me out.

Many thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Pat Finegan

I am sure our Members can clean the infected hard drive.
Thanks for joining and welcome to BC!
