I went to the fluxtime website and decided to try the download standalone version that can be used without the internet.

The stand-alone version has the same look and functionality as the online version on FluxTime Studio. Additional features include a player to watch animations locally, and a screensaver to set up animations as a screensaver on your computer. The software is save-disabled by default. You have to get an activation key to save your animations.

When I was on their website download page it said "Java detected, we recommend the 'Download without Java Runtime (1.8mb)"
I downloaded it and installed it and then when I clicked on it, I was told I didn't have java and needed to download java runtime so I uninstalled it. I have the latest java. My java got infected this summer and seemed to cause a lot of problems so I don't want to have this installed on my computer if it needs an older version of java. The java.com site says I have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 24). I don't think I have any other versions of java on my computer. I use javara to get rid of old java versions when I update java.

Is there a java for online and one that is used for offline?
