I've been a long-time reader of posts like these and working out my problems myself, but I'am stumped on this one.

I recently downloaded AVG9, and I'am now receiving Resident Shield alerts. Apparently these alerts are the cause of a virus itself. But I only started recieving them after downloading AVG9(torrent). The alerts tell me ms.dll is infected with Trojan horse Generic3_c.AERQ. Winlogon.exe is infected with trojan horse Patched_c.KAI. Explorer.exe is infected with a Virus, Win32/patched.GB

When I click on My computer, I'am brought to windows Search results for finding programs. Some folders/files, when clicked, open up VLC. Google search results are redirected.

And my extra harddrive is unaccessable, But has been before this recent infection.

==== End Of File ===========================

Edit: I guess GMER isn't finished, I'll add a 2nd edit with that log when it is ready. I'll keep this extra DDS log up anyway.
