Hi, trying to help my Dad he bought a new HP desktop with windows 7. About 2 months ago. 2 days ago most of the desktop icons now have a red symbol in them and when you double click on them it comes up with a dialog box. At the top is says, "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" and in the center of the dialog box there is the same icon in red. There are a few icons on the desktop that are ok, so I can get into the internet. Ran Norton and spybot they did not find anything. Now running malwarebytes anti malware. Cannot to a printscreen because paint and word are in red and will not open to paste into. When click on All Programs most of the folders have the same icon in red. Can not get to the system tools folder to restore to an earlier point. Downloaded superAnitSpyware and will try and run from safe mode.

Computer was running great with no problems before this.

Any help would be much appreciated. Posted in the windows 7 forums and was asked to re post here.
