hi - i just got a macbook pro about a month ago, the first 3 weeks i could jump on my secured wireless connection (linksys wrt54g v 2.2) with no problem. now i can't access the internet through the router. i can view the wireless network, and it looks like i am connected, but i am unable to access the internet unless i plug the computer directly into the modem or router. i have been able to connect on other wireless networks, so i dont think it is the computer.

i've tried pinging the router and internet ( i can only ping the internet if i am connected directly to the router with a cord)....any suggestions? i'm also new to macs...is there something i am obvious i am missing?

Hi :welcome: to BleepingComputer!

Do you have any other computers connected to the router? If so do they connect to the internet? If you do not have any other computers connected to it try to reset the router by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Let me know if this helps. :)
