Hello,

To all the experts out there, I have been reading the various posts and am now inching closer to do things myself somewhat more confidently ! Thanks for the simple instructions put up so clearly.

I am particularly interested in knowing what happens to all the viruses and Trojans that were locked up in the virus vault of Norton Anti-virus programs when one decides to uninstall it ?

The last time I did an uninstall through ad / remove programs I had trouble operating my internet browser as also the system restore options ! The latter had just gone blank. I did manage to undo the damage but then again Norton folders show up and hog a lot of memory slowing down my computer !

Looking out for your advice.

Hello Ajit2010 ,

Try this uninstaller to remove all the leftovers Norton tends to leave behind: The Norton uninstall tool uninstalls ALL Norton 2004-2010 products from your computer. It also uninstalls Norton Ghost 10.0/9.0/2003. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...005033108162039
