Hello,

To all the experts out there, I have been reading the various posts and am now inching closer to do things myself somewhat more confidently ! Thanks for the simple instructions put up so clearly.

I am particularly interested in knowing what happens to all the viruses and trojans that were locked up in the virus vault of Norton Anti-virus programs when one decides to uninstall it ?

The last time I did an uninstall through ad / remove programs I had trouble operating my internet browser as also the system restore options ! The latter had just gone blank. I did manage to undo the damage but then again Norton folders show up andhog a lot of memory slowing down my cxomputer !

Looking out for your advice.
