I have removed a bunch of different virus's at work and have found Bleeping computer to be a great help. I have come across one that has me stumped. I have tried to remove one from a PC running windows Vista Home premium. I ran Combofix and then Malwarebytes and removed some trojans and other malware. I ran Malwarebytes another time to ensure it was clean and it keeps locating a rootkit.bubnix located in c:windows/sys32/drivers/salttmqc.sys Malware acts like it removes it but I never find it in the quaratine and it finds it everytime I scan with MB. I have tried running combofix again but it acts like it doesnt find it. any ideas? Oh and Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
