I am currently a disappointed owner of a Blackberry Bold 9700. I have no issue with AT&T other than the fact that there insurance policies on phones are bogus. Who should have to spend $200 to have a phone replaced that has a defect the ring volume. Just wanting to ask everyone for advice on the Blackberry Torch and IPhone? Should I go in a different direction and get away from Blackberry or is the Torch a better phone than the Bold. Any feedback would be appreciated

as an alternative option, you could switch to verizon and pick up an android smartphone. the htc incredible or motorola x are both excellent options. verizon's insurance is $90 to replace the phone (not great, but much better than $200).

if you are stuck with AT&T, i'd get the iphone4. my dad, brother and brother-in-law all have it and i've had a fair amount of experience playing around with them (i also own an ipod touch).

i personally have the htc incredible (with verizon), and the app market for both android and iphone is what makes them dominant and well worth the money.
