Sorry if this is the wrong spot, I couldn't find a section for CE users.

my daughter got this Sylvania Netbook (synet07526) for Xmas and the keyboard stopped working unexpectedly. I'm not sure if there is a setting to disable the keyboard that got hit, or if it is a hardware issue.

can anyone tell me if there is a setting in the software to disable the keyboard??

Thank You.

Customer Support Representatives are available 8am-12am (midnight) eastern standard time, 7 days a week. Call Customer Support at: 888-571-0866

Hi - This is for US customers to call for support regarding your Netbook - Please feel free to call them (but not sure of the opening dates) -
The general rating for this model is Low from all the sites I have visited today - They average 50% compared to some similar models -
Have you in any way dropped the unit or done any other thing that may have loosened a connection from k/board to screen ??
The wires/connections run via the Hinge area so a decent knock can dislodge a wire or connection if you are not careful -
If the unit was new or under any warranty , take it back now and have the seller repair it ASAP -

Thank You -

Edited for spelling -

If the system boots...try going into Device Manager, uninstalling the keyboard driver...then rebooting the netbook.

Start/Run...type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
