I enabled the default hidden administrator account, using the tutorial here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/enable-disable-windows-administrator-account/, created a password for it, then hid/disabled that account using that tutorial again. Now, when I attempt something that prompts me for the admin password, I am unable to fully enter it. I believe this is because that password has a space in it, so when I input the space character, the dialog is closed as the 'no' button has focus and accepts the space.. How do I get thru this?

I might get around this my self. I changed the password to one with no space chars. Seems Windows 7 has safe mode too..

Ok, Final Answer. If an administrator account is disabled, the input field to enter an admin password is disabled also. At least on this computer it is..
