I have been getting a Vista windows error message. "Host process for Windows services stopped working and was closed." The error message appears however, no changes to the page is noted. I "X" out of the message and continue with no apparent problem. The error message happens a lot.

As far as I can tell the Microsoft updates are current.

Try to run TDSSKILLER to find any rootkits. Download and run from here
