Have a question about Windows 7 and my AVEX DVD ripper. I own the Avex from my XP version and went to put it on this computer which has the new Windows 7 and it would not read it. I have the downloaded version with the activation key that they e-mailed me. I went to reinstall and now have descovered that it will not work and I was wondering if this has anything to do with my new computer being Win 7. If so is there a patch or down;oad that will make this compatable or already IS compatable? Thanks for the help!

Although most programs which worked with XP/Vista...seem to work in Win 7...there are some that do not.

I have only found one (Musicmatch) and I have programs dating back to 2001 which seem to be fine.

Did you get an error message of any sort when you tried to install said program?

Have you tried compatibility mode?

Louis
