While borrowing my laptop, my mother installed a piece of software called "SpoofTel Desktop" which enables the user to "spoof" a specific phone number as another--I don't know how it works exactly.
My problem: I can't uninstall the software with the Programs and Features utility in the Control Panel. After right-clicking the list item "SpoofTel Destop and selecting "Uninstall," Windows displays an error message reading, "dfsvc.exe has stopped working; A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Will simply deleting the SpoofTel Desktop program directory suffice?
