Hello everybody

I was trying to figure out how to insert a target="_blank" link into a flash button. In order for the user not to leave the main site.

On the buttons action, where I can modify the links. I can add a link to the .html it has to go to, but it does it on the same page.

I want to have it were someone clicks on the page and it links in a new "_blank" page.

Thank-you

I believe it would look something like this: ("http://www.website.com", "_blank");

That may not be 100% accurate, but I think you need to put the "blank" part right after the URL. In ActionScript it looks like this: navigateToURL(new URLRequest("http://www.website.com"), "_blank");

Yes that is true:

<a href="url" target="_blank">Link here</a>

But it wont allow me to use this on a flash page, in the actions tab for the button (link).

I have to do something like this in the action tab:

Home|home.html

if I add the

Home|home.html target="_blank"

it will not load correctly in flash. :mellow:
