Hello all,

I have never worked with Windows 7 before....

I've always worked with older editions, the most recent being Vista.

I've seen the Window's 7 theme, and i hate the thick task bar at the bottom!

Was wondering how 7 differs from Vista and......

If i could change the theme to something more familiar (e.g. XP)

God, i'm so old-school. :P

You can right-click on an open area on the desktop, then select personalize. When the panel opens, scroll to the bottom and you can choose Windows Basic or Classic themes.
You can also right-click on an open area of the Taskbar, select Properties, then check the box to 'Use small icons' to make the Taskbar smaller.
