My laptop seems to be uploading vast amounts of data on to the web, even when its left alone..

Whats odd is that when i state "halt all traffic" using my firewall.. recieved goes to a stand still.. whereas it still keeps sending (uploading) data.

I've ran over 12 different anti-spyware and virus tools on it allready, with no luck.

If sum1 can help me, i wud very much appreciate it.

The logs for some of the scans are as follows:

Hi stats and Welcome to the Bleeping Computer!

I dont see much from the HijackThis log so lets look a bit deeper!

Download WinPFind:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/winpfind.php

Right Click the Zip Folder and Select "Extract All"

Don't use it yet

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen...src=sec_doc_nam

From the WinPFind folder-> Doubleclick WinPFind.exe and Click "Start Scan"

It will scan the entire System, so please be patient

One you see "Scan Complete"-> a log (WinPFind.txt) will be automatically generated in the WinPFind folder

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab

Make Sure "Normal Startup-load all device drivers and services" has a green tick by it

Click Apply->Close->Follow the Prompts to Restart

Restart Normal and Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop:

Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement, leave [X]scan through Windows Explorer checked, click > scan then > next

You'll see a list of all items found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers).

Copy and paste this log in your next reply. Don't choose the rename option yet! I want to see the log first, because legitimate items can also be present there, such as "wbemtest.exe"

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and the results of WinPFind and Blacklight.

Hi Cretemonster, Thanx for the reply...

Here are the logs as requested:

WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

Please go to Safe Mode and be sure Windows is Showing Hidden Files
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/...al62.html#winxp

Locate and Delete if found

C:\WINDOWS\iccontrol.exe<- File

C:\WINDOWS\icc.dll<- File

C:\WINDOWS\madchook.dll<- File

C:\Program Files\BullsEye Network<- Folder

Open the Search Assistant(Click Start>>Click Search)
Select All Files and Folders,
Select Advanced Options,
Make sure there is a check by every box under Advanced Options

Now under All Files and Folders, enter each of these into the text box:

natydave1.exe
sp2ydave1.exe
ydave1.exe

Open HijackThis and put a check by these but DO NOT hit the Fix Checked button yet

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ICcontrol] C:\WINDOWS\iccontrol.exe

Now Make sure ALL WINDOWS and BROWSERS are CLOSED and hit the Fix Checked Button

Restart Normal and have the PC scanned here
http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml

Save any results from the Scan.

Now,Generate a HijackThis Startup List Log please.

Open HijackThis and Click on the tab labeled "Open the Misc. Tools Section"

Select Generate StartUpList log and make sure that both Boxes beside it are checked:

Put a check by:
List all minor sections(Full)
and
List Empty Sections(Complete)

It will produce a NotePad Page,I need you to post the entire contents of that page to the next post

I also need you to check a file out for me and see if you can associate it with anything on the PC?

C:\WINDOWS\system32\F461rb.mgs<- Right Click and Select Properties.

Collect all the info you can on the file.

Please have it scanned at these 2 sites as well.

http://virusscan.jotti.org/
and
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html

Let me know if those 2 scans find anything on that file at all?

Post back with the HijackThis StartUp log and any results from the Online Scan.

I need you to check for a hidden driver service.

Click Start-> Righ Click My Computer abd Select Propreties-> Click Hardware-> Device Manager

Once the Device Manager opens-> Click View-> Show Hidden Devices

Locate and Double Click Non-Plug and Play Devices

Look for this entry--> mchInjDrv

If found-> Right Click and Select Uninstall.

Can you associate F461rb.mgs with anything installed on the PC?

F461rb.mgs, the only thing i think it could be is a "mapguide server" file.. i've put it in quarantene using my anti-virus too see if anything happens, but it has'nt made a difference.

I could not locate mchInjDrv on device manager.

also, since removing iccontrol.exe and the associated files off my laptop yesterday: i've been having slight problems with my internet connestion. Sometimes i need to press refresh a number of times for a web page to load, otherwise it comes with a "The page cannot be displayed" error.

I knew the bug made some changes to the registry but I cant be sure of what since most systems are set up uniquely.

Here is where I am gathering my info but Im going to have to look closely since I dont wanna make things worse.

I will need to know how you connect to the internet and if networking or routers are installed?
