Just to be sure it isnt something coming from your video card/system, try connecting a regular display to your computer and see if the line still exists. You can also connect your lcd to another computer. I have a bad feeling that you are seeing a defect in the electronics of the display. I would think Dell would have a 3 years warranty on that type of display. Give them a call, or verify warranty info online.
