Hello, I have a problem with my computer. I tend to keep it on overnight as a rule, but lately it has been restarting itself at some point. I had to restore to factory default a few days ago so I'm assuming this is some arcane windows setting I've forgotten to deal with. I have changed the power settings to never shut down the monitor and never put the computer in standby. However I still do not know what is causing this.

Thank you for all the help

Yeah that was it, it's been so long since I changed security settings that I forgot what actually happens with a restore. Thanks for the solution, and not calling me an idiot....
