Hi everybody.

I have an old Fujitsu Siemens Scenic E620 pc with a faulty DDR2 PC2-3200 ram.
The manual of the motherboard says: "DDR2 modules must meet the PC2-3200 or PC2-4300 specification."

Someone told me that I can replace the bad ram with a PC2-6400 or PC2-5300, and if the motherboard is
only capable of using PC2-4300, it will downclock any PC2-6400 or PC2-5300 that I put in there.

Is it correct?

Thanks
