Hey all,

I'm new here- but I'd like to thank all of you for your great work. I successfully removed a virus by following the directions given on this site. I'd like to ask where I'd post a question about a very slow post-virus removal computer (it's a family computer). At first I was getting security warnings (whether real of fake- I don't know...) Mal-ware did not pick up anything at first, but when I opened my computer in safe mode it detected a few threats. I had those threats quarantined. After removing those threats, I had a problem with internet explorer- it wouldn't open. The computer was taken to a professional who fixed the problem. A few days after that- the computer got another virus (which I removed following Bleeping computers guidelines.) However, even after removing all these viruses (virii?) my computer is very slow. Yesterday, I noticed that somebody had installed Uniblue's registry booster onto the computer. After reading the reviews, and seeing that it didn't help much I removed it. Now, it's slower than ever... Please help- whether with an answer or by directing me to the right forum for this question.

Thank you,
