I have Windows XP (32bit) SP2. My browser is IE8.

Up till recently, I could right click on any photo on any internet page, choose "save as" and direct it to a place, "My Pictures" for example, and save. Useful for adding photos on my eBay site. lol

Now Internet Explorer locks up, closes the "save as" box and reloads the webpage. It will not allow me to save the jpg.

I have uninstalled all updates in an attempt to find what caused this. I have tried this with firewall and virus prevention off. I run I E 8 with no Add-ons and at this point am looking for suggestions.

Any ideas? Is this an issue with "active image" scripts?
