My O/S Is Windows XP SP3 32Bit and Windows Automatic Updates set at "Notify me but don't download or install them"

The updates I am having problems with are for MS Office 2003 SP3 and they are as follows:

Security Updates: KB974554 - 925051 - 976382 - 981716 - 980923 - 2293428 - 980373 - 982122 - 947319 - 9453973

Updates: KB978551 - 907417

I tried using the MS Update website to manually install each one but still got "failed". I then noticed when I click on the update on the website it shows Download Size 0 kb Download 0 kb

Any answers please?

Have you tried downloading it from the Microsoft download center?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Actually, it's only the updates I put in my first post that are the problem and they are all updates for Office 2003. All other updates - for Win XP for example, are no problem. What I can't understand is the 0 kb I referred to.

I was just going to ask about that. Good timing.

Have you downloaded SP3 for Office 2003?

SP3 for Office 2003 includes the KB978551.

Looking at "About" on MS Word it shows Microsoft Office Word 2003 (11.8169.8329) SP3.

Sorry for the delay. I was away for the weekend.

No problem. So the question still remains, have you downloaded the MS Office 2003 SP3?

KB978551 - 907417 should be included in that service pack.
