I have a 1.5 TB Western Digital external hard drive that is about 5 months old. Two night ago I was transferring files from it to another external drive when I started to receive "delayed write failure" error messages. I have seen them before but I've never received more than one. I unplugged the drive and left it over night. Today neither of my computers will recognize the drive. It lights up and seems to be spinning but nothing happens. There was no physical trauma to the drive itself. It sits in the same place 90% of the time. Any ideas on what to do to with this thing? I am an idiot and I had my entire personal photo collection on the drive and I don't have it backed up anywhere else. I would really like to at least get this thing to boot up so I can save my memories... Any help is appreciated. I am running Windows XP and the drive is a Western Digital 1.5TB Elements drive.
