I have a Toshiba Laptop 2007 and a Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard plugged in via USB they are both wireless laser and recently my Toshiba Laptop said that this was now an unknown device and then my internet connection dropped and no wireless networks were available. I tried unplugging the USB then plugging it in again it keeps saying unknown and then I pulled out the USB then every 5 seconds a balloon pops up saying unknown USB device even though I have it unplugged, i've restarted my computer, i've tried changing ports, and the only way I can connect to the internet is via an antenna I forget what they are called but thats the only way I can connect to the internet.
This has happend before but I don't remember how I fixed it. I regained control of my mouse and keyboard last time and I was able to connect to my internet wirelessly after I fixed it last time.
I don't think it's a virus I think it's just a hardware malfunction, and any help is appreciated and I am currently running Windows Vista. Thanks in advance.
