Does it read other known good CDs? Does it not read any CDs, not just your game?

Yowzzir brother, i lost my drive e/cd rom/playing il-2Fb....my suggestions: get a disk cleaner...
2. your cd uses a laser to detect cd's in the drive and the lens may be dirty..a cd disk cleaner might help and it's a lot cheaper than taking it to the store...good luck.......live and learn.

You could try out a CD-drive head cleaner if it doesn't work only with that certain CD-rom, if it still doesn't work, something might be wrong with either your CD-drive OR CD-rom, testing it out on another computer/CD-drive.

If it doesn't work with many CD-roms, consider getting another CD-drive...
